ACT Names Peter Ritt and William Anderson to Senior Management positions

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – July 19, 2010 – Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) announced two organizational changes today:  Peter Ritt has joined ACT as Vice President of Technical Services, and Dr. William Anderson, P.E., has been promoted to Chief Engineer.  Both positions were added to support ACT’s current and projected growth in thermal management businesses.  The Vice President of Technical Services role was created to better address the needs of the lucrative but fragmented Thermal Technical Services market.  “Technical Services is a natural extension to our existing Product and R&D businesses.” said Jon Zuo, President and Chief Technical Officer of ACT, “Pete brings a tremendous amount of business and technical development experience that will be a great benefit to ACT’s continued growth.  By combining Pete’s leadership with our experienced and diverse technical staff, we are now well positioned to serve this market.”

Dr. Anderson was promoted to the Chief Engineer position to better utilize his significant and wide ranging technical and industry experience.  “In addition to providing company-wide technical leadership, Bill will play a major role in large value strategic initiatives in the company as well as provide support for the new Technical Services business.” according to Zuo.  In this position, Anderson will report directly to the president.

Ritt is a former RCA/Thomson executive and holder of 20 U.S. patents on display technologies.  Among his management roles, he served as the Thomson/Lancaster R&D Center’s business manager.  Ritt holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Shippensburg University.

Dr. Anderson is well known and respected in the thermal management industry. With over 35 years of experience in heat transfer technologies, he has worked on applications from cryogenic (liquid hydrogen at -250°C) to extremely high temperature systems (magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters at 2,500°C).  Dr. Anderson has a very successful track record in developing new technical concepts and funded R&D programs.  He has authored 115 publications and has been granted 7 patents, with 4 more pending.  Dr. Anderson has been with ACT since 2003 and was most recently a Principal Engineer in ACT’s Aerospace Products Group.  He holds BS, MS and PhD degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
